The European Cup is coming up / International Break

International football will be on this week where all the international teams who have qualified to the euros in France will get the chance to see all the current players and began implementing the tactics before the the euros. this is a great opportunity to see all the teams play and look at how the international teams have trained. the euros are not far from now and current in my opinion Germany look the stronger side with a lot of depth within the team players such as Muller, Reus, Gomez, Gotze, Neuer and Mesut Ozil who has doen his best for arsenal but the lack of performance by the other players they couldn't finish higher than where they finished previously 4th position. if i get to think about the French national team is also one the side which have to looked at where the players such as Paul Pogba, Kingslay Coman, Benzema, Matuidi and many more this players are on form and will perform no doubt in the euros unless an unexpected injury happens but that is unlikely to happen. the euros haven't started but current people have started to predict on who to win because of the player performance for club. if i am being honest i will the it to Germany a 51% chance and 49% France the chance to win it because of the player performance as a said earlier. So let me know below in the comment section on who to win the euros although we still got time but i want  to see the early predictions!

Barclays Premier League

This weeks BPL match's there was excitement surrounding were Tottenham verses Arsenal the North London derby which was player at White Hart Lane. The two teams had to win the game in order to get closer to the underdogs Leicester City who are top of the table. I watched the whole game and thought arsenal would clinch the win as they went one up against Tottenham at first half. In the second half the story of the game was about to change when a player on the arsenal team Coquelin got his second yellow which turned into to red. This gave hope for Tottenham to find a way to get back into the game and they did there equalised and then went 2-1 up the game and the momentum was on Tottenham's side. Arsenal found a way to find a goal and made it 2-2 this was the score Leicester city wanted and they were playing later on. The match finished and Leicester city won against Watford and came 7 points clear.

In other news Real Madrid showed the powerhouse ability by going all in against Celta Vigo were they beat them 7-1 where Cristiano Ronaldo scored 4 goals in 26 minutes this was insane he was angry last week were his team mates were not playing and giving the same amount of effort as he did and showed why he knew what he was talking about as we can see from what he did in todays game.

Besiktas?! Greek Supporters?

Latest Besiktas lost in the quarter-finals against TorkuKonyaspor which had Besiktas favourites for the match. The first game ended 2-1 to TorkuKonyaspor and todays match ended 1-0 to TorkuKonyaspor which the aggregate being 3-1. This means out of the three big teams in turkey only two are left in the domestic cup. In the other match Fenerbahce verses Amedspor early today ended 3-1 to Fenerbache the aggregate ended up 6-4 it was a game which Fenerbahce looked pure favourites but Amedspor gave a good game to show that any team can be on the back foot in the domestic cup now the semi-finals are drawn and the match's are Galatasaray v CaykurRizespor and Fenerbache v TorkuKonyaspor.  This means that Besiktas have now got only the league title to worry about and they seem to be slipping points and come to a close there is major games such as Trabzonspor and Galatasaray which are very important for the point difference between Fenerbahce at the top end of the league.

In other news the games which were supposed to played were postponed because of the wildness of the supporters which they burned flares and fireworks within minutes of the match to start and it had to be postponed. For some reason the Greek people have started to do this regularly every match and it is amazing as a atmosphere but at the same time its very dangerous.

Galatasaray 1 year ban!

Hello, today we will discuss the main sports news in the Turkish Superlig were the Turkish giants Galatasaray who were in the European competition(Champions League) for 4 successive season and the club with the most amount of league titles. The club has received a one year ban from European competitions because of Financial Fair Play(FFP) the seasons 2012/13 - 2013/14 - 2014/15 and 15/16 in these years the financial documentation within the club was not documented properly and the club made a continuous loss. While in this season Galatasaray has given up on the league title because they are roughly 14 points behind league leaders unless some sort of magical come back happens. The only competition that Galatasaray is in to win silver ware is the domestic cup which the are in the semi-finals. This means if there win the domestic cup they will have the opportunity to enter European competition but as the did get a 1 year ban these will be active next season. This means the club will not enter the competition in 16/17 season.

The other news is that on Monday Fenerbache and Beşiktaş played in the massive derby that lead to Fenerbache wining the game 2-0 there was a lot of mistakes by the referee for the both sides but mainly towards Besiktas the referee didn't use the judgemental very good when one of Fenerbache players didn't not receive any sort of warning or a yellow card after extensively fouling the players of Besiktas. The Besiktas board were angry after the game and are willing to appealing against the referee.

As you know the football season is coming to a point where all the leagues are in the battle for the championship. In this specific blog we are going to discuss the football related aspect in the Turkish League. This is the first post to show my audience which is you to know what is expected of my blog. To get started with the blog we are going to discuss the 2 main highlights over the weekend and today. First is that Mustafa Denizli (Galatasaray Manager) wants to step down from his position as a manager. In my view as I am a Galatasaray supporter it will not benefit the club or the lack of football which has cost us the league title and got us knocked out of the European title. At the beginning when is was appointed there was a high pressure by the media on whether he had the capabilities to do as good as he did when he was younger and won titles with Galatasaray. As he is 14 points behind league leaders this suggest that he will leave but will this help bring back the soul and football within Galatasaray. The second highlight is that today there is one of the biggest derbies in Turkish football which is between Fenerbache and Besiktas. The two rivals go head to head on the match which could be the decider for the league title. If Besiktas win the they go 4 points clear which they have a game in hand and Fenerbache no doubt has to win to show that they will not step back for the title race as well as still in the European cup.
